My name is Jordan Farris, and I am a recent Indiana University graduate with a background in information technology. With a BS in informatics, and a minor in CS, I am specializing in web development. My background in information technology allows me to understand the role of technology alongside information and data. This includes the presentation, organization, formatting, and security of the data itself.

In 2018, I graduated from Indiana University (Bloomington) with a BS in Informatics and a minor in Computer Science, specializing in development.
While attending Indiana University I worked as an undergraduate instructor for foundational mathematics courses, which were a part of the computer science and informatics program.
Since graduation I have specialized in web development and am currently working as a developer for GP Strategies in the Bloomington area.
A full stack Android application that helps non-profit organization with their transportation service. Uses scheduling, GPS navigation, client information to give drivers everything they need while on the road.
In Progress: A full stack app dashboard for a small businesses to track orders placed by customers. Bakery's, tailors, or any other shop can use it as a productivity app to replace pen and paper methods.
A nutrition tracker that can track meals throughout the day, add foods, keep track of calories, nutrition, macros, and targets. Users can delete items, and also see remaining goals.
React JS web application that uses component driven code and API fetching to give users full information about the weather and forecast. Uses GeoLocation to have location based results.
Boilerplate for a Development and Production Enviornment for web development. Using Grunt, it has sass, es6, BrowserSync, versioning, minification and concatentation readily available to start projects quickly.
TDEE calculator for figuring out the caloric needs for each user. It takes into account many different factors like height, weight, and activity.
